Spring 2026 Finals to be First CFGC LAN Event

For the first time in Collegiate Fighting Game Conference history, our semester finals will have an in-person component! Division 1 Finals for all of the Spring 2026 season titles will be hosted in-person for the first time this year, while all other division finals will continue to be held online as done previously. Both the In-Person and Online Finals will be streamed to the official Tampa Never Sleeps Twitch channel

The Top 16 Players from Division 1 in Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, Guilty Gear -Strive-, and 2XKO will compete at Ferris State University’s Esports Arena from April 17-19, 2026. All brackets and competition information for the LAN will be provided through our Start.gg page.

“As both the head of Ferris Esports and a member of the CFGC Advisory Board, I am incredibly excited to see the vision that so many of us, students and leaders across both organizations, have worked together to plan finally come to life. My time on the advisory board has shown me just how genuinely committed my fellow advisors and CFGC leadership are to the student experience and the development of their professional futures.” says Justin Summe, Head of Esports at Ferris State.

Outside of the Top 16s, we will also have time set aside for open play in all Spring 2026 titles during the first two days of the event, along with our first-ever Riftbound tournament just before Top 4s begin on Sunday. Players, friends, and CFGC community members who are not competing in Div. 1 Top 16 will still be able to attend the LAN and join in on open play. Attendance information and registration details will come soon. Information about our event schedule can be found below:

We are very excited to host CFGC’s top competitors in person for the first time, but we understand that travel can be expensive.

If you are finals-eligible and need financial assistance for this trip, we will be providing opportunities to help cover travel expenses. Details regarding aid will be provided in the coming days via the official CFGC Discord.

For any personal or specific questions regarding assistance, please reach out to CFGC Admins via e-mail at info@collegiatefgc.com or on Discord @HellOnPaws or @AlbyFresh.
